Retail operations

The paperwork behind every purchase order, handled.

Landing the account is half the job. The other half is EDI, distributors, brokers, and the people who teach store teams to sell your product. For Cherry Blooms, I aligned their North American distribution and managed their brokers.

  • A retailer said yes and now needs EDI
  • You have several distributors or brokers who aren't working as one
  • Store teams don't know enough about your product to sell it

  1. Free 20-minute call

We talk through your brand, your sales so far, and the retailers you have in mind.

  2. Retail readiness review

An honest look at pricing, packaging, compliance, and supply, so you only pitch when you can deliver.

  3. Buyer outreach

  4. Launch and grow

EDI setup, account management, and reorders, so the first order turns into the next one.

How I'm paid

Most brands work with me on an 18-month plan: a monthly retainer plus commission on sales, so I win when you win. Once you're placed, we can switch to a flat retainer with no commission.

Common questions

Before you book

What is EDI, and do I need it?

EDI (electronic data interchange) is the system big retailers use to send purchase orders and receive invoices and shipping notices. Most national chains require it before your first order ships.

I set it up with you and make sure it talks to your warehouse, so orders don't get delayed or charged back.

Do I need a distributor, or can I sell to retailers directly?

It depends on the channel. Many large chains buy direct from brands. Professional salon, spa, and many international markets usually work through distributors, who handle warehousing, delivery, and their own sales teams.

Distributors take a share of the price, so the right mix depends on your margins and where you want to grow. I help you decide, then find and manage the right partners. I've managed distributor and broker networks across North America.
