Product development

Products built for the shelf from day one.

My favorite clients are brands I get to help from the very beginning. Buyers judge packaging, price, and formula in seconds, so we design for that moment.

Is this you?

  • You're still choosing packaging or finalizing a formula
  • You're not sure your price leaves room for retailer margins
  • You're planning new products for an existing line

What I do

  • PackagingFinding packaging that looks right, ships well, and fits retail shelves.
  • FormulationWorking with your lab on a formula that's retail-ready and compliant.
  • PricingA price that works for you, the retailer, and the customer.
  • Shelf placementWhere your brand belongs in store and which category buyer it reports to.
  • Line planningNew product development, subscription boxes, and pop-ups.
How it works

From first call to first purchase order

  1. Free 20-minute call

We talk through your brand, your sales so far, and the retailers you have in mind.

  2. Retail readiness review

An honest look at pricing, packaging, compliance, and supply, so you only pitch when you can deliver.

  3. Buyer outreach

I take your brand to the right buyers and distributors, and you're in the room for the meetings.

  4. Launch and grow

EDI setup, account management, and reorders, so the first order turns into the next one.

How I'm paid

Most brands work with me on an 18-month plan: a monthly retainer plus commission on sales, so I win when you win. Once you're placed, we can switch to a flat retainer with no commission.

Common questions

Before you book

Is my brand ready for national retail?

Usually you're ready when you have steady online or boutique sales, retail-ready pricing and packaging, and the inventory and cash to fill a bigger order. Buyers want proof that customers already come back for your product.

If one of those pieces is missing, that's fine. It just means we fix it before we pitch. The free call is where we check.

How do I get my beauty brand into Ulta, Sephora, or Target?

Big retailers review categories on a set calendar, and buyers see far more brands than they can take. The brands that get a yes usually show three things:

  • Proof of demand: real sales, reviews, and repeat customers, online or in smaller stores.
  • A clear reason to exist: what your product does that the shelf is missing.
  • Readiness: pricing that leaves the retailer its margin, retail-ready packaging, enough inventory, and money set aside for launch marketing.

I prepare the pitch around those three points and take it to buyers I already know, so your brand gets a real look instead of sitting in a general inbox.
